Message from The Martin Family Farm
We at The Martin Family Farm are confident in all the produce we grow! We take special care to ensure the quality of our crops because what we deliver to you is also the same produce we put on our tables for our families. We are located in Lenox Township, Michigan, which is just southwest of Richmond, Michigan.
All dates for when produce comes in season are tentative for the reason that farming is based on the weather. Some crops will come in earlier than expected and some will come in later than expected. We promise to keep you, our valued customers, informed on any changes in the dates of harvest.
Our produce is organically grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides, but we suggest you wash all produce before consumption. The soil in our fields is built up with organic material such as compost and winter rye. Unlike the large farms in other states that use chemicals to enhance their crops (grocery store produce), we believe in letting the earth do what it does naturally.
Finally, we at The Martin Family Farm want to thank you for your support of our family farm. I personally, Matt Martin, am a fourth generation Michigan produce farmer. My great grandfather came over from Belgium in 1890 and farmed vegetables. He passed his knowledge down through the generations leading to me. This enables me to take over 100 years of experience and put it into my fields and crops so you get the best product available.
